Virginia Bioscience Podcast: Donna Edmonds

This edition of the Virginia Bioscience Podcast features Donna Edmonds, executive director of the Virginia Bioscience Commercialization Center (VBCC) in Richmond, Virginia.

The VBCC, based at the Biotech Park in Richmond, will serve as a key entry point for Israeli bioscience companies seeking to enter U.S. markets. The Center will be able to provide Israeli companies the full compliment of services required to commercialize products in the US market.

Mrs. Edmonds is also a board member of the Virginia Biotechnology Research Park Authority, the VCU Intellectual Property Foundation, Critical Diagnostics, and a founding board member of the Virginia Biosciences Development Center. She is also a member of the medical advisory board of AHURA Scientific.

The host is Henry Wixon, a partner specializing in intellectual property issues at the law firm of WilmerHale in Washington, DC and a member of the board of directors of the Virginia Biotechnology Association. The conversation, led by VaBIO’s executive director Mark Herzog, lasts approximately 25 minutes.
